Categorizing Connections
By default, when you create a Connection, ThoughtSpot orders the connection tiles by date added to our platform. If you would rather see the Connections ordered by type, contact your administrator to enable the Categorize connectors feature from the Early Access panel.
When the Categorize connectors feature is enabled, the connection types are categorized into the following categories:
- Cloud data platforms

Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.
- Query engines

Amazon Athena, Dremio, Presto, Starburst, and Trino.
- Databases

Amazon Aurora MySQL, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS MySQL, Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, Denodo, Google AlloyDB for PostgreSQL, Google Cloud SQL for MySQL, Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, Google Cloud SQL for SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, SingleStore, SQL Server, and Teradata.
